Foodview: The Harvest Beef Burger

I wouldn't recommend eating it on a first date or anything. Like all great and delicious burgers, it has a tendency to get smothered all over your face no matter how clean you try to be. Really, go for something safe like a bowl of soup! There's some dating advice for you!

Today's unveiling of the beef burger at Harvest Moon gave me an opportunity to not only take pictures, but to also try a beef burger for myself, and let me tell you that it was manly! It was a manly burger that filled me to the brim with tasty whole beef.

A warm kaiser roll did its best to encapsulate the towering stack of ingredients. Underneath the top bun was a hearty serving of onion practically spilling out to the side of the burger. Below that were thick slices of tomato and a layer of fresh green lettuce.

But it's not like you would order this burger because you are just dying for some lettuce! You want meat! Let me say that this burger will most certainly satisfy the caveman in you!

Underneath the fresh garnishes of onion, lettuce, and tomato is a smokey flavored, crisply textured layer of turkey bacon, charred to perfection. Underneath that a layer of warmly soft aged-cheddar melted into the thick and moist beef patty, the most filling constituent of the meal. To put a kick in it, the chef decided to put a layer of spicy chipotle mayo underneath it all. Thanks guys. :)

Nothing concluded the meal better than having some kettle chips on the side. It supplemented the burger perfectly. Who can resist a burger and some chips? Top it all off with a Virgil's Root Beer in a chilled glass bottle and you'll be sittin' pretty. Enjoy.

Adjectives for this meal are: manly, beefy, smokey, filling, and spicy. Good job, Harvest Moon.
